The heat releasing mechanism keeps your body from overheating during the summer but when the process is prompted by a drop in estrogen and your brain gets confused responses and most of the women's skin temperature rises six degrees during a hot flash and make your body to cool down when it is not supposed to cool.

The treatment for hot flashes varies and there are so many products designed that help women to cope with the hormone changes they experience. There are special pajamas which are used to counterbalance night sweats. There are also special designed hormone replacement products that are used during hot flashes that make the change smoother.

There are also other methods that require common sense techniques for post menopause hot flashes like placing a cool towel on the back of your neck during an attack also helps a great deal in cooling down the temperatures. Vitamin E helps in reducing the milder conditions women experience during menopause and protects them from getting cancer, reduces the signs of aging and wrinkles and helps the vagina from drying. Vitamin E can be gotten from freshly ground whole-grain flours, cold pressed oils, fresh nuts, peanut butter, leafy greens and cabbages.

Essential fatty acids including the GLA, omega 6 and omega 3 also lessens the conditions most women face during menopause and also folic acid helps in improving menopausal conditions. Incase you suffer from this menopausal conditions you do not have to worry as the solution is just with you. Simple things that one can do like using a wet towel to cool your body temperatures and eating a balanced diet will save you.
